SI ITALY TRAVEL
Terms & Conditions
Effective May 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Si Italy Travel. By confirming a booking, guests acknowledge and accept the following conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed once a completed booking form has been received and the required deposit has been paid. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 AUD per person is required to confirm a booking.
Full payment must be received by the date specified on your invoice or at least 90 days prior to departure.
Failure to make payments by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking, with applicable cancellation fees applied.
2. Pricing & Inclusions
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Tour prices include only those services specifically listed as included in the itinerary. Any items not listed as included — such as flights, travel insurance, personal expenses, gratuities, or optional activities — are the responsibility of the guest.
Prices are based on current exchange rates, supplier costs, and local taxes at the time of publication. Si Italy Travel operates tours priced in AUD where underlying supplier costs are in Euros (EUR). Si Italy Travel reserves the right to adjust prices prior to final payment should significant exchange rate movements or supplier cost changes outside our control require it. Guests will be notified of any such adjustments as soon as practicable.
3. Single Supplement
A single supplement applies to guests requesting sole occupancy of a room. The applicable single supplement will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Availability of single rooms is limited and subject to confirmation. Where a single room is not available, guests may be required to share or accept alternative accommodation of comparable quality.
4. Group Size & Guaranteed Departures
All tours are intentionally small group experiences. Si Italy Travel reserves the right to operate tours with a minimum and maximum number of guests as stated in the itinerary.
Si Italy Travel will confirm whether a tour departure is proceeding no later than 60 days prior to the scheduled departure date. Guests will be notified in writing by this date.
Where minimum numbers have not been met and the tour is cancelled by Si Italy Travel, guests will receive a full refund of all monies paid to Si Italy Travel. Si Italy Travel strongly recommends that guests do not book non-refundable flights or travel arrangements until written confirmation of the guaranteed departure has been received.
Should minimum numbers not be met, Si Italy Travel may also offer an alternative departure date as an option.
5. Accommodation
Accommodation has been carefully selected for comfort, character, location, and quality. While room sizes and layouts may vary due to the nature of historic and alpine properties, all accommodation reflects the standard described in the itinerary.
Si Italy Travel reserves the right to substitute accommodation of equal or higher standard where necessary.
6. Luggage
Due to transport limitations in alpine regions, guests are limited to one (1) suitcase and one (1) carry-on or day pack per person.
This requirement ensures guest comfort and safe transport within the private vehicle. Excess luggage may not be accommodated and is the responsibility of the guest.
7. Itinerary Changes
While every effort is made to operate tours as described, itineraries may be adjusted due to weather conditions, local circumstances, supplier availability, or guest wellbeing.
Such changes are made to enhance safety and overall experience. No refunds will be issued for minor itinerary adjustments.
8. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory and must include coverage for medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
Proof of travel insurance may be requested prior to departure. Si Italy Travel is not responsible for any costs incurred due to inadequate insurance coverage.
Given the nature of international travel, Si Italy Travel strongly recommends that guests purchase travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against unforeseen cancellation, including cancellation due to minimum numbers not being met.
9. Passport & Travel Documentation
Guests must hold a valid passport with a minimum of six (6) months validity beyond their return date from Italy.
It is the guest's responsibility to ensure compliance with all passport, visa, health, and entry requirements. Si Italy Travel accepts no responsibility for costs, delays, or denied travel resulting from incorrect or incomplete documentation.
10. Health & Fitness
Guests should be in good general health and able to participate comfortably in the activities described, including gentle walking on uneven terrain.
Any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or mobility concerns must be disclosed at the time of booking.
Si Italy Travel reserves the right to decline participation where a guest's health or fitness level may impact the safety or enjoyment of the group.
11. Cancellation by Guest
Cancellation fees apply as follows (unless otherwise stated):
More than 90 days prior to departure: deposit forfeited
90–45 days prior to departure: 50% of total tour price
44 days or fewer prior to departure: 100% of total tour price
All cancellations must be received in writing. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.
12. Cancellation by Si Italy Travel
Si Italy Travel reserves the right to cancel a tour due to insufficient numbers, unforeseen circumstances, or events outside our reasonable control.
In the event of cancellation by Si Italy Travel, guests will receive a full refund of all monies paid directly to Si Italy Travel. Please note that Si Italy Travel is not responsible for any third-party costs incurred by guests, including but not limited to airfares, travel insurance premiums, or visa fees. This is why we strongly recommend guests do not book non-refundable flights prior to receiving written confirmation of a guaranteed departure.
Where possible, Si Italy Travel will offer an alternative tour date as an option.
13. Force Majeure
Si Italy Travel is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government actions, strikes, pandemics, transport disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to provide suitable alternatives or adjustments. Additional costs incurred as a result of such events are the responsibility of the guest.
14. Responsibility & Liability
Si Italy Travel acts as an organiser and agent for third-party suppliers. While all care is taken in selecting reputable providers, we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these suppliers.
Participation in tours is at the guest's own risk. Si Italy Travel is not liable for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in tour activities.
